THAI RESTAURANT/ SNACK — Restaurant in Caorle

Thai Bar is located in a cozy corner of the refurbished "fishmarket" area of Caorle, a few steps away from the harbour.

As a bar, it offers an all-too-typical tourist menu (hot dogs, club sandwiches, a selection of beers, etc.).

So, where's the Thai? Apparently, they have begun introducing Thai dishes gradually. There were three on tap last night, and I tried the minced pork meat with rice, basil, and hot peppers. The taste was amazing despite the simple ingredients used. I tried a Thai beer, which definitely matched my plate.

So, maybe it is time to move on and have more Thai and less. My suspicion is that the Thai menu is reduced owing to heavy competition on behalf of other surrounding venues. This forced the chef to propose a menu that can be found anywhere in Caorle. Thai Bar now faces a choice: go full Thai once for all and forget the boring Caorlotto's menus, or keep going with a dual soul.

On my behalf I have had a good Thai and would like to see more of it in a city whose food scene tends to be repetitive if not...

I'm a huge Thai food fan, hence I'm in Italy for vacation and go to a Thai food restaurant. keep that in mind.

My honest opinion.

The food is great! The pad krapao is not loaded with added sauce like in most other places. The taste was amazing, I asked for some chilli on the side and chilli on the side I got! Fish sauce with super hot chilli, doesn't get much better.

If you order it spicy it will be spicy!

I have not tried the Italian food they serve but I mean cmon it's a Thai restaurant. Get some of the hot and spicy salty taste the Cousine is known for.

Only downside is the price, its a smaller amount of food but I rather have a smaller amount of amazing Thai food then a huge plate of sauce drained food.

The portion was still plentyful but I just can't get enough of it. Would still lower the price 2 - 3 euros. Any maybe add some smaller snacks like laab meatballs 😉

I recently visited this Thai restaurant and was completely blown away! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentically Thai. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire meal.

I tried the Pad Thai, Lab, and Tom Yum soup,pad Thai and each one was perfectly balanced with the right amount of spice, sweetness, and freshness. The ingredients tasted high-quality and freshly prepared.

The presentation was beautiful, and the portion sizes were generous. I especially loved how they respected traditional Thai recipes while still adding a modern twist.
