Our evening there was very stressful. It started well because the food was good and the waiter Michael was perfect, he was very respectful and offered a very good service. But the manager of the restaurant named Roberto was terrible! He sent his colleague to us to ask us if we have already payed after we finished eating the pizza because he obviously wanted a free table for the next guests in the line! This happend right after we ordered coffee and dessert, so we wanted to enjoy our evening. It was not possible because of the behavior of the manager. He watched us constantly while we tried to enjoy our dessert and talked obviously about us, probably because he wanted us to hurry up. We cancelled the coffee and couldn’t enjoy the tiramisu! I really didn't like the pizza. The dough was okay for a Neapolitan style, but for me, it was a bit too dry and not salty enough. The sauce was completely tasteless, and all I could taste was the tomato paste without the typical flavor of delicious Italian San Marzano tomatoes. However, the worst part of the pizza I bought was the cheese. It was some kind of smoked cheese in a mountain style. It didn't fit at all and tasted terrible, and I expected standard mozzarella cheese since I ordered a Margherita pizza. Additionally, the English menu was pointless because nothing was actually written in English. We shared a HUGE Spianata pizza, split into two, separate halves, one with anchovies and one with shoulder of ham. It literally almost covered our whole table. Both halves were absolutely delicious, especially the anchovy half. The service was friendly but seemed slightly disorganised with some food and drink orders being taken to the wrong tables. On the plus side there was a nice atmosphere, sitting outside. If you fancy something other than pizza (Neapolitan or Spianata) look elsewhere, as they won't cater for you.
