Fifth time in the past two years we were here in July -24. Our earlier dinners have always been top-notch and have also rated them 5 stars. This evening something felt ”off” from the start. Slow but polite service! For example, we didn’t get cutlery until after our meals arrived… Now to the problem that made them lose all our earlier top-rating and recommendation to friends and family. We had two pastadishes, a nice ragu and one Carbonara. As a chef I know that a well done Carbonara is one extremely nice dish, but as easy and few ingredients that it has, it can be a bit tricky to prepare! This time the sauce was way to over-cooked, making it ”scrambled eggs” with pasta. Not the dish we ordered… And when we spoke to our waiter about it they did, absolutely nothing…

”- it’s the way it is served” ”- you know there is egg in it” ”- I will talk to the kitchen”

Not for one second did they want to take the dish back/re-make it. We didn’t finish the dish and the waiter said he had spoken to both the kitchen and the manager, but again, ”- it’s the way it is served”.

This restaurant looks and feel like they want to be ”premium” and no tourist-trap. But when you handle your guests like this you fall short. If a dish is not done right, you don’t serve it. And if the paying guest also finds out about it and questions it. You don’t handle it like this!. That is just disrespectful. We were given two small glasses of limoncello as...

Food was good, but thank goodness we went with an Italian friend because they tried to pull a fast one. Our group of 5 sat down, and 10 minutes later a group of 7 sat at a table next to us. They all got served before us. Then, they only served our Italian friend. Wait 15 minutes, and my son and husband get served. Wait another 15 to 20 minutes, my daughter finally gets served. In the meantime, we ate some of my husband and son's food because we were really hungry. My food still hasn't showed up (spaghetti ragu which I don't recommend). I had to wait another 15 minutes to get my food. Everyone was done eating by then. Luckily our Italian friend was complaining and giving them a piece of her mind. One gentleman showed up and offered us either a bottle of wine or dessert to say that he was sorry. We took the dessert, which was really good. When it was time to pay, they charged us for dessert!!!! Our Italian friend started causing a scene and finally they said "we take off". Yikes! They offered dessert as a piece offering then tried to charge us for it. So, be careful and make sure you speak more than basic italian when you go there. That said, everyone's food was absolutely delicious, except for my spaghetti ragu. The tiramisu was excellent! Prices were reasonable. Location is beautiful. The biggest nightmare i‘ve ever experienced in a restaurant. Made a reservation for 20:30 by tel. Arrived on time and still had to wait 25 mins outside for a free table! When we got our table, Nobody came to take orders! After 20 mins i went to the waiters and asked if we could place an Order! Ordered Drinks, 3 Pizzas and 1 Pasta. The Pizza arrived very fast…But 2 of them were wrong. Ordered 1 Salami & 1 tuna Pizza ….bothe came with Salami & Tuna on it! Wife decided to keep hers, son could‘t and had to get a new one. Which came very fast. Until then i haven‘t seen the Pasta I‘ve ordered! Then (when the Rest of the Family was close to finish their meals) another waiter came and asked me what i ordered (?!). I told him that i don‘t want it anymore. At the end i’ve asked for the Manager and told her all this. She apologized and gave a 10 eur discount…which is nice, But doesn‘t change the fact that the Organisation and service at this Restaurant is very unprofessional and ruined...
