This small restaurant has great food, a cozy atmosphere, and a wonderful staff. Though they spoke little to no English, and were very polite with our little bit of Italian, we felt well-taken care of as a guest. Moreover, they treated every guest in such a manner.
We order two pasta dishes and meatballs. The cavatelli with San Marzano tomato, basil, ground pepper and Montella salted ricotta was a tasty blend of sweetness from the tomatoes.
The Di Martino mixed pasta with potatoes, smoked buffala mozzarella cheese and mountain oregano was amazing. The smokiness blended with the oregano really created an unexpectedly interesting flavor combination. For this dish alone, I want to go back.
Finally, we ordered meatballs for some protein. However, we were so full of Primi, we asked if we could get them as take away. The owner not only got them all boxed up, he created a whole new bag of bread to go with them and joyfully sent us on our way.
