Ristorante Il Poeta — Restaurant in Castagneto Carducci

Restaurant located literally on the sea shore. The menu proposes few choices mainly focusing on fish. Everything we tasted ranging from the starter of fried fish up to the dessert and wine was exquisite. Excellent customer care as well as reasonable prices. We would definitely recommend this place and will be happy to stop here again...

Dalle recensioni lette, pensavo qualcosina di meglio. Bella la posizione sul mare, personale gentilissimo, ma per il resto direi più che normale e forse un troppo caro per quello che offre. Il mio solo piatto è stato un primo che era anche un po’ minimalista nella porzione , mia moglie un secondo di un baccalà che non ha lasciato ricordi, una bottiglia di vino +acqua e due dessert per 60€

Ad un anno di distanza siamo ritornati. Il giudizio è confermato , per non dire peggiorato, non dalla qualità che rimane comunque nella media, ma dal rapporto qualità/ quantità/ prezzo. Due antipasti costituiti da n.3 tentacoli , e dico 3 pezzettini, di polpo su un cucchiaio di purea di patate, due fritti senza arte ne parte, una bottiglia di vino Ribolla da 15€, la meno cara!( arriviamo a ben 35 € per un prosecco o giù di lì), due dolci di un tortino al cioccolato, una bottiglia d’acqua. Conto da € 100. Troppo per tropo...
