Bellevue - Il Giardino Di Scopello — Restaurant in Castellammare del Golfo

We spend jun 2023 in south italy and Sicilly. I can say without any hesitate, that Bellevue Lounge Bar was best place of this kind. Why? very simple but style terrace, beautiful sight on the sea, best pizza (pinza) I ever ate in my life, very kindly (english speaking) staff, and cherry on the cake - barman Massimo, is the best DJ, because music make place more confortable, I can honestly say, that with old rocks classics, or 80´s pop between beautiful atmospere of this place, I felt absolute briliant....

Thank you so much to the Bellevue Lounge Bar!!! My boyfriend proposed at this spot, and it was nothing short of magical! The workers took the time to guide him to where we should go for a drink (and the subsequent proposal), they took the most beautiful pictures and they were simply soooooo kind!!!! Sarà che è la settimana di ferragosto, sarà che c’erano 40 gradi e vento di scirocco forte, ma qualcosa ha influenzato negativamente la performance dei gestori del locale. Poca professionalità nel preparare gli aperitivi ordinati: ci hanno servito la granita nel bicchiere del Martini (vedi foto), il mio drink era tutto ghiaccio, aveva 5 cubetti di ghiaccio e poco da bere ed è finito prima che ci servissero da mangiare; aperitivi serviti senza alcunché da accompagnare/sgranocchiare, tanto che abbiamo dovuto chiedere per avere una ciotola di patatine (quelle confezionate); gli antipasti ordinati sono arrivati solo dopo 10 minuti buoni; ci hanno portato l’antipasto vegetariano… un piattino 30cmx15cm con una discreta varietà di verdure (alcune in verità poco cotte), caponatina, olive ripiene in salamoia che venivano direttamente dal barattolo, ed un “coppo fritto” con mozzarelline, panelle, crocchette, arancinetta… antipasto dal costo di 14€ giudicato da tutti un po’ eccessivo; Il posto è bello e gradevole, buona la musica di sottofondo ma avere un bel posto non giustifica e non è sempre sufficiente a far pagare di più quando la sostanza non c’è .
