Very disappointed! I have been eating seafood for years and this is the first time I had this experience. We ordered seafood - the calamari as an antipasto was smelling very bad which means that it was very old and not to be consumed! The main courses - pasta- one of the two, was very salty, we politely asked to cancel but they said they are preparing it again, the lady (who probably own the place) was quite rude. Direttamente in centro a Castiglione della pescaia, di fronte alla fontana. Molto carino, curato e con ottime materie prime. I proprietari sono molto cordiali per Chi sa cosa significa mangiare bene, se no andate in n un'altro posto, qui i piatti sono speciali. Abbiamo preso una cruditè di pesce. Spicca l'ombrina con verdurine tagliate finissime, chirurgiche (oserei dire alla Jack lo squartatore) che aggiungono un bost in più al Piatto. Gli altri pesci buoni,tra cui l'orata, tonno, seppioline e scampi e gamberi. Se dovessi tornare prenderei l'ombrina in cruditè, Veramente una sorpresa. Come primo dei paccheri super buoni aglio, olio, peperoncino, una grattata di limone e bottarga di muggine. Top. Secondo un'ottima paranza. Era da tanto che non mangiavo un fritto così buono, leggero, non unto e Salato uniformemente. Non metteteci su il limone per cortesia, è uno scempio. Il tutto irorato da un rosé Sardo. La proprietaria è Sarda. Dolci fatti in Casa.. Da provare assolutamente la mille foglie di Pane carasau con crema alla ricotta. Ricorda molto un cannolo siciliano. Spesa complessiva di 110 totali. The food was ok, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by the restaurant host. Slow, busy and really rude and inhospitable. She seemed to be doing us a favour to make us eat.
