If you are looking for water view and lovely food - just please keep walking! There are so so many places just a little up the street that have way better service and better views. The price is better too. We went here so I could get out of the sun while my partner swam near by. I sat down and there was not really many full table. The few that were there were paying check. Several servers on at the time and a bus boy. I sat and waited for about 15 minutes and not one seemed to even look at me as they passed. So, I said excuse me to who I thought was a waiter (he must have been the bus boy) and orders a water and a spritz. Then young man walked over and told another guy who was at a counter and he looked over at me with discussed. He got loud (wanted me to hear him) and went inside. About 10 minutes later (I was there for about 30 minutes at this point) the waiter came to my table. Did not make eye contact or say a word to me but just slammed my water and spritz down on the table. Turned and walked away. Never acknowledged me again. Unfortunately I had to get a check- so I once again had to ask someone else(mostly because I was scared of him at this point) to please give me check. The man I asked went over and told “my server” and he threw a tantrum. He rolled his eyes yelled at my direction. Once he brought the bill I pains in a 10 (bill was 9,50). He snatched it and never said a word. Walking on eggshells just to get a simple drink is just ridiculous all because I did not know who my waiter was. So if you go there beware of a stalky, spiky haired chubby waiter. He is...
Read moreStaff was great except for my personal waiter who didnt inform me that pasta was unavailable until after I had ordered and received my wine. I settled for a salad that was mostly iceberg lettuce... I could have gotten that back in the States. The bruschetta was delicious with olive oil and balsamic. I felt a little duped. I asked for more parmesan for my salad because it was so sad and the waiter seemed put-off. I was also given two place settings and two glasses even though I was dining alone. I guess I should have been more embarrassed of drinking a bottle of wine by myself than presumably being "stood up"... dont eat dinner here. Only drink and snack which is delicious. Brunch is probably delicious as well but after 4 or 5 I assume they have not pasta. Thank...

Here you'll find everything to make the heart of the Italian cuisine lover beat faster. Above all there is the good Italian coffee "al banco". Drinking like a local - on the one hand this saves money not to sit down, on the other hand it is also a bit of the Italian attitude to life that comes across a bit. With the small price, usually up to one euro, you simply add 10 cents for the barman - fair is fair!
