If I could give this restaurant 15 out of 10 I would! The staff are exceptionally friendly, immediately making you feel at home. The staff go above and beyond- we saw that another customer was clearly quite cold and the owner immediately fetched her own jacket and gave it to the customer to wear. The food is fantastic and they have a great selection of wines and drinks, all of which are reasonably priced. I enjoyed their house wine (I tried both the white and red). In terms of food, I would recommend getting their specialities (which are highlighted on the menu). Our waiter even proudly told us that he made the olive oil himself from his family’s farm. We went back multiple times during our long stay in Cefalu and we only had one evening where the calamari was quite overdone and chewy but besides that our food was delicious! They have both inside and outside seating. I’d recommend the outside seating as you can get a slight view of the harbour. During our visit to Cefalù, we stumbled upon Déjà Vu by chance – and it turned out to be one of the best culinary experiences of our trip to Sicily!

We tried two outstanding dishes: the seafood risotto, full of mussels, prawns, and clams, perfectly cooked with cherry tomatoes and a touch of fresh parsley… simply divine! The second dish, ravioli stuffed with shrimp in a pistachio sauce, was a surprisingly delicious blend of delicate and bold flavors – a true masterpiece of modern Sicilian cuisine.

The service was friendly and attentive, with smiling and helpful staff. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for a sunny lunch on the cobbled streets of Cefalù’s historic center. The plating was also beautiful, with attention to every detail.
