We went there because some friends talked about their pasta 'mantecata al tavolo' very highly. The place is a typical German-Sicilian type of restaurant: you can find Wurstel with 'crauti' and German sausages, lots of meat dishes cooked in beer and the awful combination of pizza Margherita with French fries (yet, very popular here). We ordered a round of starters and we loved them. The mushroom with cheese fondue was a bit poor in sauce, but the mushrooms were delicious and the sausage was also good. For main course, we asked for the above mentioned pasta dish and a meat-based course. The latter one was well appreciated, but the pasta had an unpleasant taste and it was not melted in cheese at the table (= 'mantecata'), but it was done on the way to the table, away from us, which was disappointing. Staff with lots of character, a great selection of beers and a great atmosphere with skyscrapers of beer towers all across the restaurant.
