Family from the UK staying at Calanica Hotel. The pizza dough was nice, but the filling was horrible, the Vegetaria and Permegiana were loaded with aubergines thatvare full of seeds and oozing water, making the pizza soggy in the middle. The Quatro Fromagi was very heavy for our licking. The gnocchi with prawns had 4 full prawns with their shells, i did ask if the prawns are served without the shells and the waiter confirmed they are, it was not the case. The appetizers were very basic mozarella cheese with tomatoe and pesto that we do better at home and we also had a fried mix fish plate for 20 euros, which hardly had any fish of a taste other than oily and salty. Overall this is mot recommemded restaurant at all. Staff were not very friendly....

I've been here twice and it's a great choice for seasonal seafood specials. I had a pistacchio crusted grilled tuna and it was perfectly cooked, seasoned with an amazing presentation.
The wine selection has all the main choices and you can't go wrong with a Sicilian wine to accompany the meal.
I found the level of service excellent and far above what you find in the touristy restaurants in Cefalù proper.
