My experience was a little colored maybe as I have had absolutely Amazing Italian food before and I was with a tour group so we were on a budget I am sure..it was all totally Good just not 5 star meals... nothing to write home about it. My favorite thing to eat was the pasta oesto starter. Also, if I was ordering for myself and choosing my favorites, it might be different. They did serve us So much. We had pasta starters And a main meal And a dessert. We were a huge group so it was amazing how the staff kept up. They truly were phenomenal.. My only complaint is the first day we had 4 bottles of water for 12 people always refilled (so so wonderful). The second day we had 3 bottles for 12 people at first and then had 2 for 12 people. We never really even got a truly full glass of water because thats lkke a sip each poured out. After being in the sun all day we were thirsty!!! Definitely needed more water.. But I'm also pretty sure we were late both days and they Still took amazing care of us. All.in all top...
Read moreEng: Ah, the true Neapolitan pizza… or so they promised at ”vera Napoli”. The three of us arrived, full of expectations. The pizza? Surprisingly decent, considering we were miles away from Naples. But I’ll wait until tomorrow to see if my digestion agrees. All in all, edible and pleasant.
But the real “masterpiece” came with the bill. Total: 59€. I asked to split it three ways, a simple operation, or so I thought. Enter the cashier, evidently a Harvard graduate, who expertly asked for 20€ each. We were three and spent 59€. Got the absurdity? It’s not about the extra euro; it’s about the smug attitude and the ridiculous explanation that she couldn’t divide 59€ by three.
Fortunately, my friends had cash, and we managed to get our euro back. With this precious euro, we went and got ourselves a coffee, at least something good from the evening. But this approach? Simply ridiculous and infuriating.
Would I recommend this place? Only if you’re looking for a lesson in absurd mathematics and service worthy of a comedy. Well done, you’ve lost a customer. Excellent job!
Interessante aritmetica, vero? Eravamo in tre e abbiamo speso 59€.
Read moreI had dinner at this restaurant and I must say that I found the mixed fried fish very good, the pizzas excellent, although the garlic in the marinara wasn't very fresh and fragrant, but the dough and cooking were perfect. Compliments to their waiter, who is a little smaller than the others but quick and very courteous. It's a shame that since it was late and I have a child, I got up to quickly pay my bill at the cashier and had left a small tip for him considering his kindness, but unfortunately I noticed that his tip was collected by another waiter who had never approached us. I definitely recommend the restaurant also for...
