Al Duca is well located right in the heart of Cividale, with an exterior that blends nicely into the historic surroundings. However, the interior feels somewhat characterless, leaning towards a modernist style that doesn’t quite match the charm of the outside.
Service was a bit unusual. While the staff were friendly and polite, they only engaged with part of our group (we were 14 people), which made the ordering process incomplete and slightly confusing.
As for the food, it was unfortunately nothing remarkable — certainly not bad, but not memorable either.

We got a table right away without a reservation at 10 p.m. The waiter was very well mannered and helpful The food (pizzas and pastas) was delicious and the house vine paired well with the dishes. The square, where Al Duca is located is very beautiful and had soothing vibes besides the fact that a nearby bar played louder music. They served us quickly.
