Jinfeng — Restaurant in Civitavecchia

Relatively good prices, good food and friendly staff, but there are issues.

The restroom is a wreck. The left tap could only spray water at maximum, getting me splattered with water. The hand dryer was infinitely blowing air, before breaking altogether. The flush kept going without stop, probably wasting tens of liters of water.

A shrimp serving I ordered had something really disgusting inside of it, which our party of six couldn't even figure out. Thankfully, the rest of the food was good.

Serving sizes aren't mentioned on the order tablet, many descriptions are just the title of the dish without ingredients or serving sizes.

I would say it's worth it for the price, just be ready...

Had a good, satisfying lunch today at Jin Feng restaurant. Run by a Chinese family - they serve both Japanese and Chinese food. I had a wonderful bowl of chicken & mushroom soup (for 3 EUROs) and a small plate of shrimp fried rice (for 4 EUROs). Both were good and satisfied my cravings for some Asian food while in Italy.

Took 1 star off for some loud talking between the staff in the 1st few minutes - seriously, use your soft voices when working and in public. Menu is quite extensive in Italian, Chinese and English. Used my limited Mandarin to order my food since I don't know Italian.

If I'm back in Civi and hunger for some Asian food again, I'll know...

Location was great. The food was mediocre and the service was horrible. The waiter was well aware of the kitchen being closed within minutes of our arrival, yet proceeded to place orders for an All you can eat meal option. Not being aware of the closure of the kitchen, we waited for over an half an hour for our orders. Only to be told that it could not be filled because the kitchen was closed and no accommodations were made nor offered. We had to pay for food we never received and some of which we were unsatisfied with. I would not recommend...
