Bar Gelateria Edelweiss — Restaurant in Cogne

It was a very clean, warm and cozy bar. After the mass, it was a relaxing place to have an aperitivo and jump start your day. The food they served were fresh and warm. I liked best the big olives and their cold cuts and the cheesy foccacia. The interiors were all made of wood and there was a very nice exhibit of paintings/artworks that made the place lovely. maybe next time we could request to have the mozzarela balls really hot, nothing beats a good gooey steaming hot mozzaballs to accompany your bubbly on a chilly weather. They were fast in replenishing the serving plates 🤗... we couldn't resist from eating everything since everyone was having a wonderful time. Domenica 15 giugno, decidiamo io ed una mia amica di trascorrere la giornata a Cogne, vallata che a noi piace moltissimo! A pranzo ci siamo fermate in questo bar gelateria "Edelweiss" nel quale siamo state trattate con non troppa professionalità ed attenzione, quasi a dare fastidio...zero cortesia alla cassa e con un servizio pessimo! Per non parlare dei piatti che ci hanno servito... Abbiamo ordinato due insalate di farro condite con verdure, 9 euro l'una, piatti che non valevano assolutamente il prezzo pagato!! Quattro cucchiai in croce di farro rinsecchito, scondito e con qualche misera traccia di verdure in scatola, nessun sapore! Né condimenti al tavolo, né qualche grissino o pane. Piatti non meritevoli al di là del costo! Una vergogna! Fate pagare, ma preparate piatti che meritino! E noi siamo oltretutto residenti in Valle! Sicuramente non torneremo e tantomeno lo indicherò come locale nel quale mangiare! CHE TRISTEZZA CHE CI SIANO LOCALI COME QUESTO NELLA MIA MERAVIGLIOSA VALLE. NOTA IMPORTANTE: NESSUNO HA ASSOLUTAMENTE SPERATO IN UNO SCONTO E ANCOR MENO CHE I PIATTI VENISSERO REGALATI COME VIENE INDICATO DAL PROPRIETARIO! MA SCHERZIAMO!!! PER FORTUNA POSSIAMO PERMETTERCI DI PAGARE! SOLTANTO SPERAVAMO IN UN ATTEGIAMENTO PIU' CONSONO E CORRETTO NEI CONFRONTI DI UN CLIENTE...

If you're going to eat anything here, my recommendation is not to even try. They serve instant soups, meat in burgers is like this bought in the supermarket... Sorry ro say, I hardly find anything...
