I came here because of great reviews here. However, disappointedly it ended up with eating the beautiful views only.

The environment is vintage style, which is very traditional and decent. However their staffs don’t really speak English so when you wanna order something it’s really hard and tough. They would misunderstand it also.

The food is delivered very fast right after you ordered it. Thus you could understand how terrible the food is….it is just simple sauce with lotta tasteless starches It cost you a fortune !!!

They don’t even wanna do anything when you report something wrong with their food.

It’s just a super touristic and fancy restaurant without gourmet(delicacies), but you have to pay Gourmet Price!!!!

Trovandoci a Cogne(il mio sogno insieme alla mia compagna e’ quello di venirci a vivere),siamo andati a mangiare in questo ristorante. Beh,scelta non fu più azzeccata. Il responsabile di sala ed i ragazzi ci hanno accolto in modo stupendo facendoci sentire a nostro agio.Gentilezza e cortesia 10.Poi per non parlare del locale con attaccate alle pareti,degli stampi per fare il burro che usavano nel passato le persone del posto. Noi soggiornavamo ad un’ora e mezza,ma siamo voluti ritornare 2 giorni dopo. Tornati per provare la loro buonissima Fonduta con una particolare Bresaola di Cogne.Dimanticavo,vi porteranno come entree’ di benvenuto un vino speziato che è un qualcosa di fantastico. Consigliato già ad amici in procinto di andare in vacanza in Valle D’Aosta. Noi siamo i ragazzi che abitano vicino Roma,siamo stati da voi i primi di Giugno chiedendovi dove comprare una buona Fontina.Ci ha amareggiato molto sentire del disastro che ha passato Cogne con quell’alluvione. Excellent food, really great and knowledgeable staff, all in the gorgeous setting of Cogne - truly a lovely town. We tried local salumi (cold cuts) and the typical fonduta / fondue. All was delicious and washed down with an amazing Fumin red wine.

Be aware that there is very limited parking, so get there early and prepare...
