We entered and were greeted by a very nice young woman. Sat down outside by the tables and wanted to order coffee, tea and ice creams for two. However the waitress was as rude as they come. Not sure what her problem was but she had a bad attitude! She didn’t say hello just threw (not lay down on the table but literally threw) a menu card on the table and left. Moments later, I signaled her, because there was two of us and I wanted to have a second menu card. She saw me but ignored me. Another minute later, I called her and she simply walked by, there was a total of 3 other tables with guests.
Bottom line, bad service, terrible attitude by the waitress not worth our time or money. We stood up and left. I suggest management has a word with her and provides her with remedial training so she can learn how to properly welcome guest and make them feel comfortable. She actually really upset us.
We were at the establishment on September 4 around 14:30.
Good luck with your business. If this was my place I would have fired her on the spot. Those kind of employees cost a business serious money.

You bet this happened today at your place. I wrote the review immediately after we walked out. I just now confirmed again that I did not accidentally pick the wrong restaurant and I do not. You were not present on the patio when this happened. The patio right by the river to the right of the building when you stand in front of Gelateria Leon d’Oro.
Rather than denying what you obviously have not witnessed, your time would have been better spent apologizing for the rude and unwelcome experience we had at your establishment.
So let’s be VERY clear. This happened TODAY at your place GELATERIA LEON D’ORO....

What my husband described about the rude attitude of the waitress is absolutely correct. (See below review of PB). The owner responded by denying this ever happened. Is this how you try to solve the issue? By pretending this did not happen at your establishment today? It only highlights the carelessness that we experienced by your waitress today. The girl behind the counter was very nice, but the one serving on the patio even rolled her eyes because it took us maybe 30 seconds to decide where we would like to sit. She was impatient and rude. That’s why we left. This behavior does not deserve our business.
