The food and service were pretentious and overpriced. We ordered carpaccio, which was actually very good, but the main courses were just OK food, disguised as fancy dishes. The ladies were extremely nice, especially Jordana, but the maître had a wrong attitude from the start. Expect to find a pretentious and somewhat rude man dressed in a cheap suit, acting arrogant. What an evening!!! You can enjoy the luxurious atmosphere and the open kitchen. The service was flawless. We got a nice portion, very tasty and definitely enough. For dessert another delicious tiramisu and, of course, the Italian coffee to finish. The staff watched closely to make sure everything was to our liking. The bill was paid with a smile. Restaurant Gota is definitely recommended !!! Thank you for the conviviality and a big congratulations...

Man ist im Urlaub und möchte mit guten Freunden gutes Essen genießen. Undenkbar das man in Italien so herbe enttäuscht werden kann. Optisch ansprechend doch geschmacklich katastrophal. Die vegetarische Lasagne war eine herbe Enttäuschung. Anstatt frischem Gemüse oder einer aromatischen Tomatensauce dominierten künstliche Aromen – sie schmeckte, als hätte man eine Packung Maggi-Tütensuppe mit Teigplatten kombiniert. Von italienischem Flair keine Spur, eher ein chemisches Experiment auf dem Teller.

Das „Steak“ – in Wahrheit ein tiefgefrorenes Stück Fleisch – war zäh wie eine Schuhsohle und geschmacklich so tot wie seine Konsistenz vermuten ließ. Es war kaum durchzuschneiden, geschweige denn zu kauen. Eine Beleidigung für jeden, der jemals echtes Fleisch gegessen hat.

Krönender Abschluss: Das Comicuri bestand größtenteils aus verkochtem Oregano und einem See aus Rapsöl die nur nach Oregano schmeckte – und zwar ausschließlich. Kein Hauch von Gewürzvielfalt, keine Schärfe, keine Tiefe. Nur Oregano. Viel zu viel davon.

Insgesamt war das Essen lieblos, geschmacklich katastrophal und qualitativ unterirdisch. Selbst ein Kantinenessen an einem schlechten Tag hätte mehr...
