Residence Toblini Torbole Lake Garda — Hotel in Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro

On Monday 17th of September my husband and I reserved a two bedroom apartment, last minute, at The Residence Toblini. We were visiting Lake Garda from Ireland (after lots of recommendations from family and friends), we had just come from the doctor with our 7 month old baby who was sick and had been diagnosed with a fever. We dealt with the owner Stefano and we were happy with the accommodation and relieved to have a comfortable space to take care of our sick baby. That afternoon, I went to make some food for my baby in the kitchen and to my horror I discovered that there was an ant infestation on the kitchen counter top. There were ants all over my babies’ bottles and feeding equipment, which was a major concern as I had already had a sick baby. I would like to clarify at this point that we have no problem with ants or insects on a floor or balcony, as we appreciate it is a Mediterranean country and we have experienced this in the past, however the kitchen area is unacceptable. I went to reception immediately, and I was informed that the manager/owner (Stefano) was at a funeral and he would return at 6pm. We had to go out to the pharmacy to pick up medicines, on our return we were met on the steps of the hotel by a very angry and abrupt owner Stefano, when I began to explain my experience he immediately shouted rudely that we should leave the apartment straight away as we would only cause more problems if we stayed. (I wish to stress at this point we had no other issues). He offered no alternative solutions and we were completely shocked and distraught by his aggressive behaviour. When I asked about a substitute apartment, as I had a sick baby and it was very late to find a new apartment under the circumstances, he said that he had no other apartments available (which was untrue as there was availability on the website). He was very derogatory and rude towards us, he laughed in our faces, although I was visibly upset and my baby was crying and very unsettled. We were then escorted to the apartment by another man who stood over us as we backed our bags, which was very upsetting and caused much stress for us all. This man seemed surprised that I was complaining of ants in the kitchen, as he thought that we had the problem on our balcony. We have never experienced anything like this before; just because we made a very valid complaint we were kicked to the street like dogs with a sick baby in the late evening and made to find alternative accommodation. We are so traumatised by Stefano’s unsympathetic and unprofessional approach that we have contacted the Italian embassy in Ireland and the Lake Garda Tourism...

Very clean, fantastic and wonderful! We will definitely come back to Residence Toblini and strongly recommend it! This is a GREAT, relaxing place to stay. The spacious appartments/studio’s/balcony are extremely clean, well organised and look exactly like pictured on the website and have a modern look (they are recent). You can choose between different sizes of apartments/studio’s, depending on your needs. The beautiful garden with the outdoor swimmingpool, and the indoor swimming pool are very well maintained and the entire residence is an idyllic, dreamy, quite place to relax. There is a huge inner courtyard were all clients can easily park their cars for free. A big secured garage enables to accommodate bikes, surfboards, SUP’s, etc. Laundry facilities (washing and drying machine) are available and laundry detergent is present. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The owners (brothers Claudio & Stefano)) are very friendly and welcoming hosts creating a warm & service-oriented atmosphere. They gave us useful tips about restaurants in the area, places to visit, etc. We were even allowed to charge our electrical car at their electrical charging station. The location of the residence is perfect: 5 minutes walk to the Gardasee, good restaurants in walking distance, close to the historical Riva del garda, close to Punta Larici which is a spectacular panoramic lookout/viewing point over the Gardasee which you must definitely visit! Toblini residence is a very beautiful apartment complex very close to Lake Garda in Italy. The complex is located in the town Torbole. It is approximately 100 meters from the lake. In the North part of the Lake Garda neighborhood you'll find besides Torbole the places Nago, Riva del Garda, Arco, Malcesine, Limone sul Garda and Rovereto. The owners are very client orientated and kind to the guests.

Residence Toblini ist eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung komplex in der direkten Nähe des Gardasees in Italien. Der Komplex liegt in der Gemeinde Nago-Torbole. Es ist ungefähr 100 Meter vom See entfernt.
