Tagliere di affettati e formaggi per due appoggiato lì in mezzo al tavolo senza perdere mezzo minuto per dirci che salumi erano, prodotti dove, formaggi fatti con latte di mucca, di capra, di pecora? due parole di contesto, niente! In un ristorante di un paesino che si fonda sul turismo è vergognoso che non si valorizzino i prodotti tipici. Viene ovviamente il dubbio che non vengano valorizzati perché di tipico e di artigianale avessero ben poco (per fugare ogni sospetto bastava perdere un minuto con i tuoi unici clienti per descrivere cosa gli stai servendo). Seguono Tagliatelle ai funghi, con i funghi completamente spappolati che diventano una sorta di poltiglia (comportamento tipico da fungo surgelato…) eccessivamente salata. Visto l’andazzo non ho motivi per non temere che fossero surgelate anche le tagliatelle, per altro arrivate istantaneamente dopo aver ritirato il tagliere, dunque già pronte da più di qualche minuto… Quale che fosse l’origine dei prodotti, sapori da menu turistico. Giovane cameriere che porta i primi senza dire cosa sta appoggiando al tavolo né a chi siano destinati e pretende inoltre di ritirare i piatti ad un commensale mentre l’altro sta ancora finendo di mangiare, per di più chiedendo se si gradiva un caffè e il dolce. In un posto dove non serve investire per far arrivare i clienti, trovandosi al centro di un posto con una grande e naturale affluenza di turisti, mi aspettavo una maggiore dedizione verso i prodotti del posto, con una narrazione più curata sulla gastronomia locale. Si esce con l’idea che si tratti di un posto che avrà sempre clienti sufficienti per vivere appena sopra la soglia della sopravvivenza e questo tutto...

Some of the best meals we had while in Molveno and Andalo. Small, family restaurant with intimate interior and exceptionally good food. We came back three times, we liked it so much, and had nearly every dish on the menu. Papardelle al suco de lepre was amazing — as was the Milanese. Great food, lovely staff. The only thing that could be improved was the efficiency of service, with a very long wait between first and second dishes, but honestly it was worth the wait for the food. Can recommend this place...
