YES YES YES. We were delayed on the Bernina Express from Chur and wanted a quick bite before heading to Milano Centrale on the 15:08. A bottle of local Nebbiolo and three courses did the trick! This is local and it’s magical - asparagi con uomo in season, local lamb, an unreal risotto stinging with the tang of sheep’s milk cheese, etc. (There were nine options on the menu and we ordered all of them!). Spoke for a moment with the proprietor about the greens that came along with the pork loin - a local cress that had been in season since February but was going out in a couple of weeks. It’s that kind of local. It’s a hundred steps from the front of the train station (turn left out of the front doors, turn immediate left at the corner of the building, turn right into the new-looking development) and a better layover meal could not be imagined. This is the sort of place that foodies - and people that read Google reviews in their entirety - love to...

The service was great. 5 stars to the guy going up and down those stairs for each guest. Adding a star for him.
The ambiance is strange and sterile. Upstairs you have big images and either a bird playing with a fox or a big ape with eyes staring at you

The local salted beef Bresaola gets this place a star. Actually it was delicious. But as a solo eater it was a massive volume.
My advice, if its a nice day, your waiting for the train, if your a family of 3+ or want a big plate of Bresaloa and a nice wine, sit out in the patio and enjoy. Its right by the train station.
Maybe the pastas are better choice.
Oh and the Tiramisu wasn’t...

The food was great, the service exceptional, and with great views of the mountains and scenery. After seating us, the waiter served a beef chili with rice that was very appetizing. We ordered tuna tataki for appetizers, it was very fresh, and nicely seared, served with avocado foam and I think Sriracha mayo. For mains, we ordered the goat cheese risotto with cured meats that was phenomenal. As expected, it does have a strong smell, so beware if you do not like goat products. The dishes were plated nicely too! Paired with sparkling wine, this dinner...
