Baccusardus Wine Bar — Restaurant in Crabonaxa/Villasimius

Amazing place for aperitivo!Probably the best you can find in Villasimius.

Service is lovely and fast, the tagliere is superb and they also do a variant of the classic Spritz called Su Spritzu which I recommend as is made with local wine from Sardinia (Vermentino). Local beers (and one gluten free beer too!) available on the menu.

As a coeliac person I spoke to the staff and they can't guarantee cross contamination as the kitchen is small but their tagliere is all gluten free (apart from the bread) and they can bring the bread on another plate, I was so happy about it!

Price is fair and is worth going at least once if you are in Villasimius!

Dopo aver ordinato (2 taglieri mannu, 2 spritz e una birra baccusardus) abbiamo aspettato circa mezz’ora per l’arrivo del primo tagliere e delle bevande, e fin qui niente di strano, normalissimi tempi di attesa. Passati 45 minuti, vedendo che il secondo tagliere non era ancora arrivato ci siamo avvicinati per fare un sollecito alla cameriera accorgendoci che non aveva segnato il secondo tagliere. Anche fin qui nessun problema, può succedere a tutti di sbagliare, se non fosse che poi abbiamo dovuto aspettare un’altra ventina di minuti per avere il secondo tagliere, arrivato dopo più di un’ora dal momento dell’ordine. Arrivati alla cassa per pagare il conto, la cassiera si gira verso quella che suppongo fosse la titolare (?), una signora con i capelli grigi più anziana del resto delle ragazze, alla quale GIUSTAMENTE chiede come si dovesse comportare nei nostri confronti, visto il trattamento e il servizio che ci era stato conferito. Senza un minimo di riguardo e con toni arroganti, la signora indaffarata ad affettare salumi di fronte a noi, accenna ad una frase come “ma neanche se ne parla”. A quel punto la ragazza ci da il conto quasi senza scusarsi dell’accaduto e senza almeno tutelare la loro figura che tutto era stata fuorché professionale. È un peccato perché il locale è sempre stata una tappa fissa a Villasimius e quasi mi è dispiaciuto che facesse questa figura a causa di quella signora con i capelli grigi. Ci saremmo aspettati un trattamento diverso, non dico uno sconto ma un gesto, anche solo un caffè offerto per scusarsi per il disguido, ma evidentemente non tutti (e parlo solo della signora e non di tutte le ragazze compresa la cameriera che ha sbagliato con la comanda) sanno cosa vuol dire gestire i clienti e avere dei buoni modi. Perché il risultato finale di un locale si evince non solo dai prodotti offerti, ma anche dal servizio e dall’educazione dello staff. Risultato finale, circa un’ora e dieci aspettando un tagliere, se avessero fatto prendere la decisione alle ragazze in sala e non alla signora che affettava salumi adesso ci sarebbe un eccellente...

Let’s start with the horrible service, they forgot our order of food while we waited more than 20mins for some cheese, then pretended nothing happened after I reminded them. At some point I was calling one of the waiters who was cleaning a table right next to ours, she looked at me while I was calling her then looked away and ignored me. The seating is either on the floor or in high chairs, which wasn’t my favourite thing. They use Sardinian produce which is a plus and it’s okay, they have a nice selection of wines, but with this kind of service I have to give them 2 stars.
