1st day in Villasimius, in desperate need of rest & nourishing food. My husband was set on finding this pok bowl 🍜, but I was hesitant, having had some disappointing experiences in the past. Still, we ended up at a modest yet spotless food stand.
The owner, Alicia, greeted us warmly and began preparing my family’s meals. As I watched her thoughtful approach, my curiosity grew. When the food arrived, I couldn't resist sampling a bite from my husband's bowl—and I instantly converted. The presentation was vibrant, and the blend of mango, avocado, pineapple, 🥭 + 🥑 +🍍, grains, and protein brought out flavors that pleasantly surprised me.
Alicia’s hospitality made the experience even more memorable. She offered not just a meal, but a moment infused with warmth and passion for her craft. I was so caught up in it all that I forgot to take many photos, but I’ll be sure to next time.
This small, family-owned business left a lasting impression. Run by a kind-hearted wife and her husband, a scientist, they bring flavors to life with elegance and creativity. Supporting them felt like supporting a true labor of love.
Final thought: Really, "Don’t judge a book by its cover." This little gem offers not only great food but a heartwarming story. I hope they continue to thrive and nourish many more with their thoughtfully designed menu.

Read moreAt first I thought the experience here was going to be positive by looking at the general reviews on Google and Deliveroo, but I must say I was disappointed as my first time here. Most ingredients were indeed fresh (the fish, the veggies and the sauces were great), but all rice bases were incredibly dry and hard, because you could see they leave the rice in open air left to dry. The cashier and overall climate there was pretty stiff since everyone was stressed, which I am sorry for. The price of the poke bowls/burritos is pretty inflated for what you get, but if you get a poke bowl with a salad base, it is...
Read moreTheir poke bowls are heavenly! Exactly what I was craving for after too many pastas, pizzas, seafood and pork dishes. Super fresh ingredients, tasty and creative combination of flavors - simply mouth-watering! Came here twice in a row because I couldn’t get enough! Had the tuna bowl (seared one night, raw another) - YUM! Also the shrimp bowl (“mellow” shrimp not deep fried) my absolute fave! Teriyaki chicken was also tender and tasty but shrimp bowl with mango had my heart.
Michael, the owner, is an awesome guy. Very friendly, speaks both Italian and English fluently. Such a pleasure to talk to.
