Ristorante La Sorgente — Restaurant in Crabonaxa/Villasimius

Having read all the nice reviews we were actually quite excited to try this restaurant. We just got refused a table on the premise we didn't have a booking.The restaurant was 25% full as you can see in the video. There was no reason a family of 7 couldn't be accomodated. But also the way the main waiter treated us wasn't really nice. I understand that there is a system, and you need a booking , however when the restaurant has 5 tables busy and the rest empty it just looks bad. The 1 star on the food is not based on us trying but only because we were honestly so upset , inlcuding my 8 year old daughter whose question was ' Why can't we eat here , it is so empty?' I honestly doubt in the next hour all the bookings would have been there. Hope this makes sense , and that next time not Italian clients are greeted a bit...

Costi elevati rispetto a ciò che si riceve. Ormai ho girato una decina di ristoranti, e questo è stato l'unico che per un piatto di fregola, onestamente cucinato male e con una decina di vongole piccole e senza sapore, mi ha chiesto 20€, capisco la bottarga ma non l'ho sentita nel mix di sapori. A meno di quel prezzo ci ho mangiato molto meglio (sempre con bottarga come ingrediente), anche solo facendo due passi in centro a Villasimius.

Il personale è stato gentilissimo, il servizio veloce, io non mi sono lamentato per evitare scene, dopotutto non potevano farci molto.

Mi spiace perché con i costi elevati del campeggio la direzione potrebbe tenersi a bada sul ristorante, invece devono spremere per forza, alzando i prezzi e abbassando la qualità, non ci vedo altre spiegazioni.

Dove vivo la chiameremmo una trappola per turisti, anche se il mio giudizio è ristretto quindi non mi sento di dire che tutti i piatti siano come la fregola che mi è arrivata.

In tutto ciò ero affamato e dopo 20€ di piatto sono dovuto andare da un' altra parte per finire di mangiare.

ENG tldr: Prices are jacked up, and quality wouldn't match, even if the prices weren't so high. Take a walk in the town and you'll have a better experience. This to me felt like a tourist trap. I ate too little to be 100% sure, but the food I got served in town was much better than...

I loved it. Turned up, no booking and it’s busy. There’s immediate chit chat to accommodate us, the waiting staff were brilliant about it. There’s no music which helps the atmosphere, it’s set in mature pines, and it is beautiful, tables of children, couple, families, on the terrace they’ve a couple with dogs.
