Very ugly & very bad violent food experience - RISTORANTE PIZZERIA IL BORGO 👎👎👎👎.

I went with two of my ladies friends we order our food, they deliver a salad that i asked them to change it because i did not feel that it was fresh, few minutes later some of the responsible person in the restaurant came to me to ask my why did i return the salad i said i did not want it, plain and simple, he said in Italian, you wanted or you do not want it you will have to pay for it, i said nothing assuming that i am not going to make a fight over a simple salad. Then we continue eating and almost forgotten the situation, but once again the responsible look at me and say: you are not educated of what you did with our salad, then starting to raise his voice where i had to stand up and asked him to stop, one minutes later he came to our table pounding the table and placing the lunch invoice asking us to leave immediately, my ladies friends were frighten and he has threaten us that if we do not stop eating and pay the invoice and leave he would call the police, i left the table and i went to the reception to pay the invoice where he continue to threatening me with words and trying to get me aggravated, i kept my cool and he continue saying you see i do not need people like you i have many other customers pointing at the line at the restaurant front door, honestly it was the worst experience i ever had in my life in Europe in any restaurants even McDonald's would have given much better treatment and after all for what for one simple salad because i did not want to eat it even accepting to pay for it. I will never go back to this restaurants, you think you are going to eat peacefully, then you find out that they instead want to fight with you and call the Police, totally unacceptable totally unpardonable experience. I wish all tourists know this real evil truth about this very bad experience restaurant NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN ...

Nette Pizzeria mit einem tollen Blick auf die Burg von Dolceaqua. Dieses Pizzeria wurde uns empfohlen. Empfehlungen lassen meine Erwartungen noch höher steigen:). Die Bedienung war okay, der italienische Kellner war in der Kommunikation italien-like, die mexikanische Bedienung war kurz und knapp, aber nicht unfreundlich. Hier fehlte mir doch das authentische Flair ein wenig.

Hätten wir doch Pizza nehmen sollen? Wir hatten uns für Pasta Vongole (mein letzter Versuch in diese Richtung in Rom war nicht besonders) und für eine Calzone entschieden. Die Pasta war besser als die letzte, im Geschmack vielleicht nicht ganz spitzenmässig. Salz und Pfeffer fehlten leider auf dem Tisch. Die Calzone war leider enttäuschend. Kein Geschmack, hier wurde ordentlich gespart an Gewürzen. Den Teig ausgerollt, in der Mitte Tomatensoße, zusammengeklappt und gebacken. Das geht natürlich viel besser, wenn ich da an unseren Italiener zu Hause denke. Also für mich war es geschmacklich nicht der Hit. Die Vorspeise war solide, vielleicht ein bisschen zu trocken. Was mir gefehlt hat, war Öl und Essig, frischen Pfeffer aus der Pfeffermühle und Salz. Brot gab es auch nicht. Vielleicht hätte man das erbitten sollen, für mich ist das Service und eine...

Yes it took longer to service and this was a busy Friday evening but not excessive and the views of the castle at night more than make up for any delays
