I give it 4 stars for the food,and because our allocated waiter was very friendly,attentive and amusing.We were lucky to get a table out on the veranda,which is in a courtyard under a ceiling of branches and leaves,very pretty.Little birds singing away and pooping on the tables.All very amusing,one must just watch It doesn't land in one's food(this is definitely not a criticism,we love nature,and so It should be).It was the weekend of the famous Bread festival in Brixen, at the beginning of October,so the old City Center was packed.We straight away ordered a big bottle of water,but unfortunately It didn't arrive until our waiter was allocated to us,which took ages.But beside everything taking long,can be forgiven for very busy time,understandably. My HUGE complaint and disappointment came when my husband said the toilets are spectacular (the men's)....so when my little girl needed to go,we went to the Ladies(even the men's door was open so one had full view of the urinals(not pleasant Thank you!)and then the state of the Ladies Loos was terrible!!!! I'm shocked at women who are just incapable of being clean by themselves and lacking so much respect for themselves then shout around about feminism....Ladies! Clean Up after yourselves,this is not the first time i see this sort of thing! Then a Restaurant with a Michelin Placque should have someone checking the toilets and keeping them clean,surely they make enough money to have someone doing general housekeeping on busy days!!

The food was delicious!!!! Well done to the cooks and kitchen staff! I had Venison stew and deer medaillons with peach on white Polenta,out of this world,so delicious.My husband had a delicious Pizza and our little One,the Penne Bolognese(they have a kid's menu which Is a major +).For desert,not to be missed,the oozing DEVINE ...

We drove all the way from Pertisau in Austria because I, an Italian myself, told my german friends we should go down to Italy for good food and good people. No one was disappointed by the food, but unfortunately we had a very rude waiter (we sat by the pizza oven area) which ruined the whole experience. While we were ordering the entries he very rudely said “this is a restaurant, you can’t just have salad and soup” before we were even finished ordering all the main dishes as well for everyone. When we finished eating, we asked for the menu to see the desserts, and then his rudeness showed up again when he said we couldn’t have it because the kitchen was closing soon, without asking what exactly we wanted.
