Mezzadria - Tuscany Burger — Restaurant in Empoli

The quality of the ingredients (meat, bun, etc) is very good, however: the meat was very dry and not juicy at all (we ordered 4 burgers and they were all dry) Missing ingredients (example no pancetta croccante which we paid extra for and since we did take away, by the time we arrived home it was too late to go back) ONE HOUR wait for 4 burgers to go! We have two children, they should have advised that the there was going to be such a long wait. We noticed that the Glovoo runners were coming and going so it seems those orders have priority. We had our drinks while waiting for the meal, so not ideal, especially if you have kids filled up on soda and then not hungry enough to finish their meal.

There's potential to be a great place, they just need to focus and organize better. Maybe hire another person to help things...

At first they helped us find a hotel as the trains were on strike and had to spend the night in Empoli. They weren't upset that we didn't want to eat there then. After we found the hotel we decided to go back and try their burgers. They was super delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed them making our unexpected evening in Empoli...

I got one burger (6 euro, quite good, maybe too much bread). There are tables and chairs inside and outside. There is the bathroom (also for handicap). Park for car: quite (with fee). Park for bike: quite (in Piazza della Vittoria). Closed 300 meters from Empoli...
