Ero nei pressi di Empoli e mi sono fermato per mangiare qualcosa al volo, ed ho trovato questo posto dove fanno ottime schiacciate. Ho preso la schiacciata con il nome 'Averardo', composta da: prosciutto crudo, pecorino, pomodorini e rucola. Buonissima. Prodotti freschi e di qualità, specialmente il crudo che risultava molto saporito. Il pane molto buono, era caldo e croccante. Da bere invece, ho preso una Cola Italiana (Molecola) che, mi ha stupito nel gusto. Un po' più amara della classica Coca-Cola, ma si difende bene. Il posto è pulito, piccolino ma caratteristico. C'è qualche posto all'interno appoggiati ad un bancone e qualche posto esterno dove sedersi per mangiare. Il ragazzo delle schiacciate è stato molto cordiale e simpatico. Infine, il conto è stato onesto. Ho pagato 8€, 5€ per il panino (di grandi dimensioni) + 3€ per la bibita (in vetro). Questo posto si trova nella piazza principale di Empoli (Piazza della Vittoria), ed è facilmente raggiungibile in macchina parcheggiando nei pressi del piazzale e, facendosi 2 minuti di camminata. Consigliato.

I got one flat bread with raw ham, cheese, rucola and eggplant (5 euro, good). Flat bread is very soft and served hot. Maybe could be more stuffed. There are tables and chairs outside. There is no bathroom. Park for car: quite (with fee). Park for bike: quite. Closed 450 meters from Empoli train station.

This place really got me.

If you are from Empoli, you already know it; if you are staying in Empoli, you should already know it. And if you are in the surroundings, take the time to go there - it’s worth it!
