Me and 1 friend were visiting Ercolano from Scotland and we had a lovely time eating here on our final night. We were learning Italian and so not fluent at all, the staff were very understanding and helpful with this, speaking good English but allowing us to practice our Italian. The staff on a whole were lovely, there were two men who served us and they were both so kind, interested in our travel and where we were from and shared about their own travels and life. The food was delicious, much better compared to the same dishes we had tried in other restaurants in Ercolano and Naples. We felt we were treated really well with the staff asking us what music we’d like them to play, free small glass of wine and taking pictures for us for our memories. Price was great also, we had a 3 course meal and a drink each (2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 drinks) and the bill was under €60 as well as complementary bread. Overall we had a lovely time and recommend if you are...
Read moreI cannot say enough about this place.
We found this restaurant on our first of three nights staying in Ercolano. If we lived here, I would be in at least once a week.
First, the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. It as if they know they have something special and want to share it with you. You don't get that very often no matter where you live. In plain language, if they suggest it, you do it.
The first night, my wife and stepson had the T-bone steak. I tried it with them. Excellent. I had a cod dish and their Paccheri alla Genovese. It is honestly one of my favorite pasta dishes ever.
Night two, my stepson has some Gnocchi and my wife and I both had the Paccheri. Yes, I had it again.
When we were done they brought us these super tasty little deserts. We ended it all with a delightful shot of liqueur.
We will be back tomorrow, and I may go in early before we leave the day after tomorrow. Seriously, if you are in...
Read moreThis place is the absolute best. As we were walking along, a lovely waitress caught our attention as she was so friendly and hospitable. I was so eager to try gnocchi al limone but could never seem to find it on a menu in Napoli … and with our holiday coming to an end, the panic was starting to set in. BUT GUESS WHAT - the chef made it for me despite it not even being on the menu! And OH MY GOD it was everything I could have dreamed of- fresh, creamy and that lovely sharp lemon. Absolute bliss. This is by far, the best meal I have eaten in Italy. Or ever. My son even stole half of it as it was THAT good. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere chilled- a great vibe throughout. Thank you to the two sisters who were the friendliest waitresses ever! If only every restaurant experience could be as fantastic...
