We had such a wonderful dinner here. We made a reservation weeks in advance which we were very thankful we did because the town was packed upon arriving. Our service was wonderful, they gave us English menus and made helpful recommendations as to their favorite dishes and what they suggested we try. We started with the eggplant and swordfish rolls which were excellent as well as the octopus salad, also amazing. Next we had the seafood carbonara which was to die for, and such a large portion. For our main we split the tuna steak with pistachio sauce, it was so simple but done so well, we were blown away! To finish we had espresso and the bronte (pistachio) tiramisu which was out of this world good! The restaurant also gives everyone a little bite to start, which was a whipped ricotta and toast with tomato and a little chocolate and biscotti to finish. Premetto in anteprima che il voto non è per il Ristorante ma per il gestore, persona dai modi sgarbati e lontana anni luce dal potersi rapportare con gli esseri umani. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per le 20.45, lasciando anche il nostro recapito telefonico alla gentile ragazza che ci aveva rassicurato su “nessun problema se doveste far ritardo!”. Per un problema personale (e non per gioco!) siamo giunti al locale con circa 15 minuti di ritardo, dove c’erano già i nostri 2 amici che avevano comunicato il nostro arrivo. Ebbene, una volta giunto davanti al gestore, questi, con fare tipico da grandissimo maleducato, mi si è rivolto con fare indelicatissimo dicendomi “il tavolo ce l’ho, ma voi siete arrivati in ritardo e quindi non ve lo do, tanto più che alle 22.00 ho un’altra prenotazione e voi non ce la fate a finire prima!”. A quel punto ho detto che avremmo fatto velocemente perché i nostri due bambini (che avevano fame) avrebbero preso solo un piatto di pasta in bianco ed anche noi 4 adulti avremmo ordinato un solo piatto veloce e quindi per le 21.55 saremmo andati via. Controrisposta del gestore: “io non vi faccio sedere. Potevate chiamare!” Ed io: “Anche voi avevate il nostro numero e potevate chiamare… e vi avremmo spiegato il serio motivo per il quale portavamo ritardo. Altrimenti perché chiedete il numero ai vostri ipotetici clienti?” Altra controrisposta: “In ogni caso non vi faccio sedere!”. Terminando, posso solo affermare con fermezza, avendo anche letto le altre recensioni negative (con le consuete sgradevoli risposte del gestore - non può che essere lui a farlo!), che sono elementi come il suddetto a far ripudiare un posto meraviglioso come Favignana, ricco di storia e tradizioni, reso famoso soprattutto da una casata quale quella dei Florio (e non c’è bisogno di aggiungere nulla), che ha reso Favignana quello che è oggi! Quindi, caro gestore, Le consiglio di guardarsi indietro, perché se continua così, con i suoi sgradevoli modi, ci sarà poco da continuare a lavorare… la gente scapperà da Favignana. Il Suo comportamento scostumato e poco professionale ha rovinato completamente la nostra serata e non posso fare altro che sconsigliare vivamente questo posto a chiunque desideri un trattamento dignitoso...

Definitely the best restaurant in Favignana, from great starters to amazing main dishes you will be spoilt for choice when eating here.

If you want to get a general taste of the starters, there is a mixed platter for two that has many tasty treats, we grabbed this last time and it was the perfect way to start dinner! Another great option for the more adventurous is the crudo prawn platter, basically seasoned raw prawns - they honestly melt like butter in your mouth.

There is always fresh fish caught locally available, along with calamari and a variety of prawn options. You also can't go wrong with tuna streaks or friend calamari and prawns!
