Panificio Orsatti Gianfranco — Restaurant in Ferrara

My husband and I stopped here for lunch today. There was one waitress for all of the outside tables. We ordered drinks and lunch, a salad for my husband and tortellini al'ragu for me. The waitress brought tableware packets and parmesan cheese. Thirty minutes later she came by and asked what we had ordered. No explanation or apology for our wait. Didn't even bring bread to the table for us to munch on while we waited. After another thirty minutes we were getting ready to leave when the waitress brought our food. Again no apology, she set it down and escaped as quickly as possible. When I opened my tableware packet there was a knife and napkin but no fork. My husband had 2 and gave me one. He had to stop the waitress to ask for vinegar and oil for his salad. When we went in to pay , the cashier asked if everything was ok and we explained what happened. She apologized. No offer to comp or make anything better. We still paid full price. And the portions we're small. One hour waiting for food is much too long! I would not recommend this...

Cliente da molti anni nei negozi Orsatti, dove mi rivolgo sempre per acquistare le favolose coppie ferraresi, i gustosissimi grissini al bacon e cappelletti di carne. Premesso che parto da Bergamo appositamente per acquistare i prodotti sopra citati, nei negozi Orsatti ho sempre trovato cordialità e ottimi prodotti. Oggi a distanza di qualche mese, pur essendo fuorilegge perchè giunto da un' altra regione, mi sono fermato prima in via Palestro ove ho comprato il pane ed i grissini, poi sono andato in via Garibaldi ove ho acquistato due vassoi di cappelletti . Giunto a casa, dopo circa tre ore di macchina, ho scartato i vassoi per separare la parte di cappelletti destinati anche ai miei vicini che me li avevano richiesti. Amara sorpresa erano TUTTI attaccati tra loro, mollicci, umidi e di un colore giallo anomalo. Ho ovviamente contattato il punto vendita che mi ha riferito non solo essere prodotti da un laboratorio esterno (quindi differenti dai soliti da me acquistati per forma e gusto), ma che anche loro stessi avevano notato i difetti da me riportati. Sono rammaricato perchè non sono stato informato al momento dell'acquisto di queste diverse caratteristiche (chiamamoli pure difetti) e perchè inoltre moltissimi di questi cappelletti separandoli si sono letteralmente rotti. Al telefono la signora ha tentato carinamente di riparare al triste errore proponendomi al prossimo mio passaggio una sorta di storno, ma la frittata oramai è stata fatta perchè il mio tempo perduto per andare a Ferrara (oltre alla benzina) nessuno me lo ripaga. Dunque questa recensione sia di monito a coloro che intendono rivolgersi da Orsatti per acquistare pasta fresca. Avvisare il cliente non solo è un atto di mera cortesia, ma anche un obbligo dell'esercente se vuole salvaguardare la propria...

Overpriced bread. Dry and flavorless. 6 Euro for 6 small panini and a famous coppia (in dialect "ciupeta") of Ferrara has a central body called knot or ribbon with two twisted pointed breadsticks attached. All of which would be fine if the bread were good. You know that feeling that you get that you are getting the tourist price... I got that feeling.

I never tried the deserts but they...
