Osteria Angolo 42 — Restaurant in Finale Ligure

Went there two times in the same week. The first time I went with my children and wife. They gave us a table fast and we could enjoy the food, it was really good. After being there and seeing the food is good we decided to invite our friends with their children also so I made a reservation for 7 people outside at 19:30. Once I arrived there at 19:30 the waitress told us that we need to eat and leave before 21:00 because they had the table reserved again.... Of course we didn't like this but we decided to sit anyway and then keep drinking somewhere else. We ordered everything and the food started coming at 20:40 I told them it's impossible to eat and leave before 21:00, the waitress was nice and arranged to let the table for us longer. The food was a joke, nothing to do with the other day. The Salat you could see they cut one tomato in 4 pieces and throw it in there, the tun fish was from the can still with the form. They don't even try to make it nice. We ordered grilled vegetables and I had to call the waitress and show the pictures from the other day and from the actual day ( it was looking like someone took from the rest of the bin). The ravioli counted was 5 inside of the plate. And the last time was like 20. Pissed off already I was waiting for my plate, and I told my friends and wife to eat. They finished and my food didn't arrive, so I called the waitress and asked for my food. I said to cancel it. Lost the hunger already and makes no sense eating alone. I asked to pay the bill and there is the funny thing. They wanted me to pay forks for 7 people 2,5€ pro person when they didn't put for me and for the two children. They put some bread in the beginning also without asking or saying that costs 4,5€ They also put two drinks more in the bill to pay and I said to take it out. So be careful when you need to pay. I had an unforgettable culinary experience at this restaurant, and I want to share a few of the delightful dishes we enjoyed.

My wife chose a locally styled rabbit dish with an absolutely divine sauce. Every bite was an explosion of flavors, and the sauce was simply heavenly.

My son was thrilled with the spaghetti with lobster. The lobster was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the homemade pasta complemented this sophisticated dish perfectly.

I opted for the spaghetti with zucchini, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique way they were prepared. Tiny zucchini, cut and cooked to perfection, accompanied the freshly made pasta, creating a dish I had never encountered before. The taste was absolutely exquisite.

But beyond all of this, I must talk about the tiramisu. A tiramisu so good it brings tears of joy to your eyes. I have only tasted such tiramisu once before, in Turin. If you are in the area, please, stop by and tell them that Andrei sent you to try the tiramisu. Then come back and tell me if I was right.

This place is a true paradise for food lovers. I wholeheartedly recommend you visit and enjoy every dish...

We went to Osteria as recommendation from our hotel! The place is really nice and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Very good. In terms of food the main courses (Lasagne and Tagliatelle with truffles) were both very delicious and super reasonable in size and price. The Antipasti starters felt slightly overpriced. The mushroom was superb, but was arranged on slightly withered salad. The carpaccio was also tasty itself, but the same issue with the salad, which made the experience not 100% good. For 20 Euros for a starter one could expect fresh and tasty salad, I guess. The white house wine is not recommended. Flat, no depth in taste and too acidy for both our tastes. All in alla good dinner at a nice restaurant, but only 4 stars as the bill was a little to high for...
