We booked this less than three weeks before we arrived, as after a painstaking search it was the only 2-bedroom apartment we could find that was still available over the Easter weekend. For that reason we paid more than we really wanted for what is quite a basic apartment, but it was worth it for the convenience - it is very close to the main shopping street and restaurants (which unlike Genoa is actually open on Sundays and over Easter), and being in the same apartment made it easier for the three of us to plan our time there.||||Having booked (through booking.com), staff were very quick to respond to my many questions by email, and extended our checkout time without extra charge. On arrival they were equally helpful, providing an extra key, giving us restaurant recommendations and simply shrugging when I mentioned that I'd broken a wine glass (I'd expected to be charged for replacement).||||The only hiccup was being told by one receptionist that only the person booking needed to provide passport details. The following morning we were told by someone else that we all needed to.||||We could occasionally hear guests next door when in the kitchen/lounge, but not in the bedrooms. We also heard the drone of traffic in the distance, but we got used to that. However it did get a bit airless in the main bedroom. The only other complaint is that there are not enough electrical sockets in the apartment. ||||We didn't cook, but they do provide big saucepans, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. We had no problems accessing the wifi.||||They have a funny system with the car park (10 euros a day). They lock it at midnight, then rearrange all the cars so that guests can drive out more easily the next morning.||||Overall, it was a good, relaxing stay, and I would happily stay here if visiting Finale...
Read moreHad a 6 night stay and loved the place. Room was excellent especially at the price, short walk into the town centre and down to the beach.Pool was clean and very quiet, as was the whole hotel when we were there (late September). Hotel has its own carpark but parking spaces are quite tight, underground carpark under the hotel is available at additional cost. The hosts spoke reasonable English and were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Views over the roof tops of the sea, lift from ground floor within garage up to the rooms. Space for pushbikes in the garage if required. Room was for up to 5 people which would have been a little cramped but for the 2 of us was lovely. If visiting make sure you visit The Old town up behind the beach resort, completely different vibe. Lots going on in the area, big on downhill mountain biking and climbing, loads of restaurants and cafe-bars down towards the beach and a huge Market on a Thursday. Very Italian with limited English in most places so phrase book handy, Fabulous place and hotel, thoroughly recommend if you want something none...
