Pizzeria 40 — Restaurant in Fiumicino

Yesterday we eat at this restaurant, sadly we didn’t have a good experience. To start with corona rules, green was needed to sit inside. They didn’t even ask for it & placed us inside.

We wanted to order food, but there was only one waitress that took orders for food. So after asking 3 waitresses we finally got somebody that could help us. 30 min until we could place a order.

First dish came fast, within 15 min. But the second dish took almost 2 hours. Probably they made a mistake what can happen but perhaps you should inform the costumer that something went wrong.

On top of that they also shut down all types of airco. The place was insane hot and no wind at all. Everything was shut down.

Then we wanted to leave and the lady came to tell us that the food was coming.

We order beef for 2 (46 euro) although the meat didn’t taste that bad. The quality of the wasn’t meat was really good.

Sulla qualità del cibo e della pizza nulla da dire. Mi dispiace dare un giudizio pessimo al servizio perché non riguarda il personale del servizio ai tavoli ma assurdamente riguarda i proprietari alla cassa. Hanno fatto storie, ci hanno fatto perdere tempo e ci hanno anche messo il malumore sul fatto che non volessero farci pagare conti separati tramite pos. Oltretutto la signora anziana che sta alla cassa ci aveva gonfiato gli importi di 2 euro ciascuno, e non essendo stupide avevamo capito che non era stata una semplice svista ma che stava cercando di fregarci perché proprio non volevano farci più transazioni col pos. Poi è arrivato l’altro proprietario che a quanto pare sarà stato “scomodato” risolvere il problema visto che materialmente non sapevamo come fare e ci ha detto che il titolare può rifiutarsi di far pagare conti separati (per legge assolutamente FALSO). Si può essere comprensivi su tutto.. le commissioni sui pagamenti, la scomodità per chi non si è ancora abituato ai pagamenti digitali, ecc.. però NON ESISTE che facciano perdere tempo ai clienti negando qualcosa che per legge non possono negare. Oltretutto non c’era neanche gente in fila per cui non stavamo causando neanche effettivo disagio sulle tempistiche. Mi dispiace molto perché alla fine hanno guastato gli umori di una serata piacevole e con del buon cibo, dove non potevamo fare diversamente perché non avevamo proprio contanti con noi e nessuno ci aveva mai fatto storie su una cosa del genere. Spero che migliorino su questo perché un cliente che vuole solo pagare e passare una bella serata non può essere messo in una condizione così spiacevole, a maggior ragione se è un’attività storica che desidera mantenere la sua bella immagine con la concorrenza spietata...

Absolute superb place to enjoy with family and friends the fantastic food, atmosphere. The food quality is towards high end levels, we had pizza, appetizers, and grilled beef....... which where all really tasty, genuine and well cooked. The grilled meet chef is very, very good in what he serves, and also kind in making sure we enjoyed the cooking time was appreciated.
