A tutta piadina — Restaurant in Florence

This is a truly wonderful little place, located just outside of central Florence but well worth going out of your way to visit. They specialise in piadina, a traditional Florentine flatbread sandwich. The sandwich is something special. There's a large selection of both sweet and savoury available on the menu and everything is made fresh to order. I've never eaten a sandwich quite like this; the bread is soft but firm, the ingredients and flavours balanced perfectly to surprise and bring joy with every bite. This was a delicious snack! We only got one to try and wished we had got several more! We stopped in on the way to do something else, and so glad we did not just pass it by. The owner was so kind and explained the fillings to us, helping us choose. Will be back on...

I thoroughly enjoyed my little sandwich made from crunchy flatbread, fresh salad, tomato, and smoked salmon. Very open, friendly, and polite. Eating here...
