The staff at this charming little pizzeria are very warm and welcoming. They speak coherent english and will kindly provide you with an english menu. I decided to try the Hawaii pizza, which had a thin and crispy crust that suited my taste perfectly. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling pleasantly full. The pizza itself tasted great with good flavors and a generous amount of pineapple. To accompany our order, we had a side of fries which reminded me a bit of traditional english-style fries. A dash of salt and vinegar would have made them even better, we will ask if this is possible next time we visit. The prices are very good also, so it's perfect if you are on a budget, or over indulged money-wise the day prior. I definitely recommend this little pizzareia, particularly to tourists (like ourselves) staying at the Italiana hotel. The 23 bus that returns you to the hotel from the central city stops right in front of it, making it a perfectly convenient place to grab some good quality, good priced food to take to your hotel room. I sampled this pizza back in 2008 when I left Europe and headed back home to Las Vegas, Nevada. This pizza has never been replicated in the states. The crust was delicious, chewy, and baked to perfection. I loved the light sauce and the olive oil on the dough. The freshness and quality of the cheese, ingredients, and cooking method was outstanding. The oven itself was amazing, burning very hot, enough to cook a pizza in minutes. My father and I ate 15 slices between us. The owner was a very friendly and kind man who was entertained at the fact that we ate so many slices. I wish I could learn from this master of pizza.
