I've been there a handful of times. The food is very good, especially the cacio e pepe. I am vegetarian and haven't tried the porchetta, but everyone else who has been there with me says it is wonderful (if not the best they ever tried). The place is small, so booking ahead is definitely recommended. You can't order many different dishes, which can be an annoyance for some. Their kitchen is small and thus they can't cook many pasta types at once, so if one person wants spaghetti, another a bucatini, and a third, rigatoni; you'll probably have to rethink the order. Esperienza negativa. Siamo stati oggi a pranzo, eravamo 8 persone. Dopo ben 20 minuti abbondanti che ci siamo seduti finalmente ci portano l’acqua. Vogliamo ordinare, non esiste un menù, arriva la signora per proporci i piatti, già scocciata, come se le stessimo facendo quasi un favore a stare li.

Ordiniamo gli antipasti e i primi. Ci arrivano gli antipasti in piatti di carta, ma vabbè era il problema minore, i primi ci arrivano invece dopo 1 ora e mezza. Piatti romani non all’altezza. Carbonara nella media, amatriciana (se tale la si può definire) proprio zero, il pomodoro era completamente acquoso.

Dopo essere stati lì il tempo necessario per concludere un matrimonio, ma avendo mangiato solo due cose, ci alziamo per andare a pagare, apriti cielo, eravamo tutti amici e ognuno voleva pagare la sua quota. Niente la signora era contrariata da questo fatto, voleva un unica quota, nonostante ci fossimo proposti di aumentare il prezzo ad ognuno di noi per farci pagare anche la commissione, ma niente, non ne voleva sapere. Alla fine ha dovuto pagare uno solo di noi e poi, ci siamo dovuti scambiare il denaro. Ovviamente non abbiamo visto uno scontrino.

Prezzo ragionevole… beh per la qualità del cibo, anche troppo forse.

Organizzazione pessima. La signora nervosa e scontrosa tutto il tempo e zero tatto per i clienti, urlava per la “sala” con il suo collaboratore ed ogni qualvolta gli chiedessi qualcosa dovevi sentirti sbuffare pure in faccia. cose davvero allucinanti.

Un consiglio, limitate un po’ i posti a sedere, troppi coperti per un ristorante piccolissimo. Magari così potreste avere un...

We were received as if we were part of the family. It was the best and most warm welcoming we had in Italy. Food was simple, homemade and great tasting. Not that many options, but they quickly suggested the best dishes of the day according to what each person was looking for. And we even had a great desert of the traditional biscuits soaked in wine.
