I had a few excellent experiences here. Andrea is absolutely lovely - kind, efficient, and always smiling. She checks in, makes conversation, and somehow still manages to keep everything running smoothly. She was a joy to chat with and made the space feel warm.

The pastries are top notch. Whether I was sitting under the trees with a fruit tart and a pot of tea, picking out sweets from the display case, or ending the night with a plate of spaghetti alle vongole by the marina, everything felt easy and unpretentious.

Di solito facevo colazione al bancone oppure con amici mi fermavo per prendere qualcosa da bere, ma dopo oggi passerò direttamente al prossimo bar. Stanno facendo la partita, tutti presi, vabbè, posso anche capire che c'è gente e che si genera confusione. Siamo rimasti per un po seduti senza che nessun cameriere si avvicinasse. Ci colleghiamo al menù tramite codice qr presente sul segnaposto del tavolo. Chiediamo informazioni ad un cameriere circa una pietanza e ci chiede di aspettare. Aspettiamo anche 10 minuti e allora chiedo ad un altro. Neanche ci guarda in faccia. Vai con il prossimo. Niente. Allora ne fermo uno e gli chiedo informazioni. Mi dice di aspettare ancora e io gli rispondo che il loro sito ha problemi e che per ordinare abbiamo bisogno di parlare con un cameriere. Non avrà capito nulla perché ci dà il menù cartaceo e se ne va. Vabbè. Controllo comunque il menù e noto una differenza di prezzo. Finalmente una cameriera (non una ragazza che quelle sono state molto scortesi) ci viene in contro e gli chiedo finalmente informazioni per ordinare. Mi dice che il menù online è sbagliato e che quello cartaceo è giusto..... Ordiniamo, devo ammettere che il servizio è veloce (ci serve la stessa cameriera), ma le pietanze sono state palesemente scongelate.

L'unica ragione per cui non ce ne siamo andati prima di ordinare è stata la cortesia di questa signora, quindi per i proprietari che spero leggeranno, imparate ad essere cortesi e a trovare persone cortesi.

Comunque.. Rimaniamo seduti, vedavamo la partita, e ci portano il conto. Praticamente dovevamo andare subito a pagare.

Spero che la mia esperienza, negativa, possa aiutare altri a non commettere il mio stesso errore. Vi auguro una buona cena, da un'altra...
