This is not only the best pizzeria in Genova but one of the best in all of northern Italy. I've been a client for a number of years now and always enjoy the fantastic hospitality of owner Aldo and his staff. It's very difficult to find an authentic pizzeria today and so Al Pisacane is a rarity. You're not a client but a guest and this makes a big difference. IMHO, the best place to try the best pizza in Genoa and the best pizza I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, found this place the day before leaving Genoa. Incredible choice of pizza with fresh ingredients and many locals there. The place was very cozy so was full of people in the evening.
