As a young couple we had the pleasure to try out this restaurant for dinner. Summary: * Friendly staff, except the one who has no manners - inappropriate comments and facial expressions. Cené con mi pareja un sábado por la noche, el restaurante es una sala normal, pedimos el menú de 7 platos sorpresa. Nada más empezar solicitamos asesoramiento para el vino del sumiller, dijimos que queríamos probar un vino tinto de la región, sin preguntarnos nos trajeron una botella que no era de nuestro agrado, la cambiaron. Media hora después del inicio se paró el hilo musical, estábamos en una esquina del local y se oía un fuerte zumbido del aire acondicionado, tras ver que nadie reaccionaba y siendo el zumbido bastante desagradable lo indicamos a uno de los camareros media hora más tarde. El servicio solo nos sirvió la primera copa de vino, después nadie vino a rellenar las copas. La comida, aunque correcta no fue ninguna maravilla, los linguine (foto) y el postre (no fotografiado) no estaban a la altura, lo demás simplemente correcto. Casi al final del servicio se oía de fondo música de un móvil (alguien viendo vídeos). Al haber comentado algunos de estos temas y ser los últimos comensales, nos dejaron solos en la sala sin servicio. La única persona del equipo que estuvo atento fue un camarero joven que hablaba español. Al salir comentamos que la experiencia no había estado para nada a la altura, teniendo en cuenta que pagamos 375€ por la cena. El restaurante nos mandó un mensaje de disculpa pero teniendo este trato desde luego que preferiríamos haber cenado en cualquier otra parte. No lo recomiendo y no debería tener ninguna estrella michelín.

We had a fantastic experience at Ristorante San Giorgio, thanks to the extremely welcoming and helpful staff. It was our first time dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and we never felt awkward — the team made us feel completely at ease. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with flavors that worked together perfectly (my favorite was the Genovese Pesto Pearls). For someone with a sweet tooth like me, the dessert was spectacular — refined and memorable. We highly recommend visiting if you’re in Genova!

We had a fantastic experience at Ristorante San Giorgio, thanks to the extremely welcoming and helpful staff. It was our first time dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and we never felt awkward — the team made us feel completely at ease. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with flavors that worked together perfectly (my favorite was the Genovese Pesto Pearls). For someone with a sweet tooth like me, the dessert was spectacular — refined and memorable. We highly recommend visiting if you’re in Genova!

Great, caring Service, at least Most of the time. The Sommelier was very Professional and served us an excellent recommended bottle. They have great climate and the Ambiente is a decent, old school michelin Restaurant type of vibe. However, the food was unfortunately below my expectations. i do Care about Things Like highlighted products or courses and a Red thread throughout a menu, especially If its a themed surprise menu. Unfortunately, i missed those aspects here...A few of the seven courses we had were really good. I Loved the scallop with apricot and spinach very much. My least favourite course was a Tuna dish with mayo and a cold tomato split-broth. The Problem Here was, that the Mayo was surrounded by the split-broth and so the mayos Emulsion collapsed while eating the dish. Unfortunately the Service got a little worse over the time. In the end they started cleaning Up the Restaurant while we were still drinking digestives and it seemed a little bit Like we were forgotten. But i also know that there are Bad days, even in fine dining kitchens, so maybe it was Just one of those. I think If you Like Fine dining and Happen to be in the area ist Not a mistake to Check it Out. I would recommend to maybe try Out the a la carte offers, they sounded great. As someone who frequents Michelin-starred restaurants 1-2 times per month, my expectations for both food and service are quite high. During my recent visit, I found the service to be just okay - not quite the attentive and personalized experience I've come to anticipate from establishments of this caliber. A particularly disappointing aspect was the wine selection, which did not seem well-chosen to complement the dishes served.Regarding the pricing, I was taken aback by the charge of 75€ for a mere 0.1l glass of Krug, which I found to be excessive and not justifiable, even in a high-end dining context. Furthermore, it appeared that the restaurant favored guests who exuded a certain level of arrogance, which I found off-putting and not conducive to an enjoyable dining atmosphere.The culinary experience itself lacked any standout features or 'wow' moments that I typically look forward to in such venues. In comparison to other restaurants I've visited that boast 14 points, this one fell short in delivering an exceptional or memorable experience. Come descrivere una esperienza sensoriale davvero splendida grazie ai sapienti piatti studiati ad arte dallo chef Caccioppoli?

Non si può... Bisogna senz'altro lasciarsi andare come nel più classico dei "leap of faith" e se lo si fa con i piatti dello chef non c'è alcuna paura...

Ristorante centralissimo e spaziatura dei tavoli e dimensione degli stessi davvero ottima, se si è da soli o in due sia ha una piazza d'armi dove mangiare se si è di più si ha la giusta comodità e spazio.

Ma passiamo al cibo, premesso che ci tornerò e torneremo per provaregli altri piatti che non siamo riusciti ad assaggiare.

Benvenuto dello chef fatto di un ragù di carne sfilacciata in cui la tenerezza della stessa, la consistenza e il profumo e sapori erano davvero squisiti.

Antipasti, capponmagro alla genovese rivisitato (capponmagro genovese, verdure e pescato a vapore con salsa verde) dove la tipica galletta è stata rivista in una speciale crêpe a base di barbabietola... Pesce che si amalgamava alla perfezione tra tutti i suoi ingredienti.

Primo, Gnocchi al pesto 2.0. Veramente la nuova frontiera degli Gnocchi al pesto. Il pesto si trova all'interno degli Gnocchi morbidissimi e leggerissimi eppure alla giusta consistenza con le cialde di formaggio a dare la giusta croccantezza. Gli Gnocchi, della giusta dimensione di un singolo boccone, vanno mangiati interi per degustare appieno il sapore e fare esplodere in bocca i profumi liguri.

Secondo, Ricciola alla ligure con pomodorini, capperi e olive Taggiasche, mi hanno detto chi l'ha mangiata che il piatto era bene equilibrato e bilanciato e il gusto della Ricciola ben si sposava con la sapidità delle olive Taggiasche e dei capperi...

Per finire i dolci, eh sì. Anche qui lo chef vi dà un assaggio per stemperare l'attesa della preparazione: caprese pomodoro e basilico versione dolce. Il gelato di mozzarella e la coulisse di pomodoro sono strepitoso, gustosi e pieni di sapore;abbiamo apprezzato molto le consistenze ed il gusto formidabile.

Dolci al cucchiaio ordinati, Crema Catalana fiori e semi (classica catalana con semi di lino, di girasole, pop corn caramellati e gelato alla camomilla) e Mou nocciola e cioccolato (frolla alla mandorla, salsa mou, bavarese al cacao, nocciola caramellata e gelato mou). Arrivati al dolce non ci sono più parole e aggettivi che possano descrivere l'esperienza sensoriale ricevuta tramite i piatti dello chef e della sua Brigata tutta.

Crema catalana buonissima ma leggera soprattutto nell'accostamento con il gelato alla camomilla e nella croccantezza data dalla parte di semi di lino girasole e popcorn.

Chi ha mangiato il dolce alla mou dice che l'esperienza della Mou e della bavarese al cioccolato erano semplicemente spettacolari unite con la, frolla di mandorla dura e consistente che si accompagnava alla scioglievolezza dei due ingredienti morbidi.

Per finire, dolcetto di pasta frolla e aragostella con panna montata fresca, beh come finire in bellezza la cena.

I piatti inoltre erano di una bellezza anche visiva che accompagnano come sempre una esperienza sensoriale come questa.

Semplicemente tutto bellome buono, in una parola, stupendo.
