A group of us went to a restaurant, very hungry after a long day. Immediately upon entering, my friend and I ordered a drink, which, as it turned out, was out of stock. We waited about 40 minutes for our order. The food took about 30 minutes. The carbonara was tasteless and seemed to be made from a sachet. The gnocchi were tasteless. The chicken burger had burnt eggplant in it. I got the zucchini burger about 20 minutes later because the waiter forgot to write it down. The burger was stale (it tasted that way). We were never informed that our drinks were out, and we waited like crazy. The waiter didn't understand English, so we constantly had to ask for basic "add-ons" like salt, olive oil, or ketchup for our fries. After we finished eating, I went to the maitre d'état and expressed our concerns. Fortunately, she was contrite and understanding. As a reward for the disappointing meal, we received three tiramisu (which was a plus). However, this doesn't change the fact that this restaurant deserves a culinary revolution. First thing we noticed when we entered this place was how little the staff cares about serving customers. They were playing games among themselves and hardly paid attention to any of the guests, and when they did, they only went through the motions just to get you out of the way. Really disappointing. Food is just as bad as the service - still icy, barely defrosted cheese and eggplant dish. They didn't even bother to microwave it long enough. One would think that because the restaurant's theme is shaped around Buffalo Mozzarella, everything should be great. Alas, they somehow manage to mess up this beautiful product in so many different ways (probably in as many, as they have dishes on the menu). Read moreThe pizza was good, but the tagliata was terrible. Why ask how I want my steak cooked if it ends up half overcooked and half undercooked? The plain salad on the side was also disappointing – definitely not what I expected.
When we paid for our dinner, one of the staff asked how everything was. We mentioned the steak wasn’t good, but she didn’t seem to care – didn’t even ask why. I was considering ordering another beer, but the staff looked too busy and unapproachable.
