White's Bistrot — Restaurant in Genoa

We had an excellent time at Whites. We arrived in Nervi earlier in the day and this was our first food stop. We had the seafood linguine, the pesto linguine, a starter and a local-ish wine. Capped off with tirimisu.

Nervi can be tricky for those who don't speak Italian but the server knew English well enough to explain some things, recommend some things, and make a few good laughs.

Lovely staff, food, drinks and atmosphere!

My girlfriend and I has a lovely afternoon cocktail there (one of the best mojitos she ever had!). Followed later that evening by some beautiful Italian food (including a vegetarian option), and fantastic deserts.

The staff were so friendly and patient with our rubbish Italian, and the 80s music was great for us!!

(Oh and the espresso...

the food was awful. we ordered the beef tartare, it looks like it came out of the freezer and heated in a microwave. I get a salad dish in a bowl and very dry pulled meat with it, no sauce or anything and burger was very bare and plain.
