Alfio's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Giardini-Naxos

Went for dinner twice whilst on holiday. First time better than the second. Pistachio pasta was excellent, pizza was pretty good although rather soggy in the middle. Staff were confused over our reservation - apparently we used the wrong site (even though it's linked on their Google profile above) and they didn't have a reserved table for us. The restaurant was basically empty anyway so shouldn't have mattered. Ordering the food was stressful - waiter stood over us as we did it on the app, rushing us - communication wasn't great. The app lets you order - goes straight to the kitchen, but doesn't let you pay. It also doesn't have everything from the menu on there, so you have to ask the waiter anyway so seems...

Oh yes! Authentic pizza so worth the the little walk from the center! Second time eating here but last time we had take away, this was our last night in Giardini Naxos before going home and of course it had to be Alfio’s! All three had the mozzarella, basil and olive oil pizza and we were floored! So good, the dough, the sauce, the cheese. Ugh! Absolutely delicious! 10/10 would recommend! Our late dog was named Alfie, and last time we visited he was still with us, so we feel an affinity towards this place❤️ Thank you for making our last night in Giardini...

Went here because of the great reviews. We were not let down! Amazing pizza, wonderful staff and great service (ignore all the other people who complain about the service. This is Italy, I am from Canada, food and dinner is an experience to share with your company. Not to be rushed. If you want it fast please go to McDonalds). The pizza is one of the best I've had in Italy (I've been to Italy 7 times) and the place was quaint and cozy. We ordered the house wine (1.5L plastic bottle of wine) it wasn't great... But it was 4€. Great value. Great food. Highly...
