Bar Italia — Restaurant in Giardini-Naxos

Do not go here for dinner. Plenty of places nearby that serve better food and have a much more welcoming vibe. From the start, we were treated extremely poorly by the entire waitstaff. The waitress was rude and the waiter did not respond to any requests. At one point we asked for salt, he went to his team members pointed at us, shook their heads, and never brought it over. Food tasted like it came frozen from a grocery store. Only perk of the place is that it was the only spot in town open on a Monday. You will not get the dining experience you want at this restaurant as you would from other spots...

We recently dined at Bar Italia, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The waitress was incredibly arrogant and unfriendly, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Her attitude was off-putting and set a negative tone for the entire meal.

To make matters worse, the meat was terribly chewy and barely edible. It was a struggle to get through the meal, and the quality of the food was far below what I expected. Overall, I cannot recommend Bar Italia. There are plenty of better places to dine where both the service and food are much more enjoyable. Avoid this...

We went there with my family and it was a really disappointing experience. We had to wait 45 - 50 minutes just to order and we received really bad results. I ordered a steak which was completely raw and not just chewy but unchewable, and the other dishes were similarly bad quality as well, I'm not sure whether the quality of the food was bad itself but for 22 - 24€ it is a complete disgrace, I had toothache and bleeding even 2 days after the dinner....
