From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the elegant yet cozy ambiance that created the perfect backdrop for a remarkable dining experience. The team, Sara & her husband who own the restaurant are amazing, friendly, warm, explain the dishes very well.

The restaurants creativity and expertise of the culinary team. The diverse array of options showcased the finest ingredients, carefully curated to highlight the best of both Sicilian and Japanese culinary traditions.

The chef at Pura Vida is a true artisan, creating visually stunning creations that are as beautiful to look at as they are delightful to eat. The quality and freshness of the fish were exceptional, and the flavor combinations were genius. The Sicilian offerings were equally impressive.

All food reviews are subjective but I would like to think that anyone could appreciate the quality of flavours at this restaurant. As I had lunch and dinner here several times, I also saw other people (Italians) go and thank the chef, just as I did after my first and last meal there. I initially went as they had a different style of menu to all the other places around as you do get tired of the same food being offered. So I had the excellent sushi and the raw fish (tartar and ceviche) appetizersand the sea bass which were all delicious. But what ended up blowing me away was how the simple dish of seafood spaghetti was really the best I have ever had anywhere. There was more seafood than pasta and the sauce was delicious. All I can say is - do yourselves a favour and go try ANY dish at...

Very inconspicouous restaurant from the outside, but inside it hides a gem in fine dining with focus on seafood. The decor and subtle furnishing both add to an intimate and pleasant ambience. We also loved the open-kitchen concept. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, and even provided our daughter with a coloring set. The food was extraordinary. Beautiful to behold, deliciously seasoned and savoury. The portions were fine in terms of size, just enough to enjoy every bite. After finishing our meals we seriously wanted to taste the desserts as well, however, the waiters never asked if would like anything else, so we just paid and left.
