One star is not for the food, because we were unable even to try it. It's for the ignorance and awful customers relation. We checked what are the working hours of the restaurant on the google maps, and it was clearly stated that restaurant is open and working after 3pm. It's quite important here, because most of the restaurants closes between 3-7pm. Once we have arrived, we tried to communicate to some of the staf, buy no one cared that we enetered the room. At some point I managed to intercept a waiter and ask if we can get a table, but the reply was in some bad English (typical for the area) that the kitchen is closed. I knew what's happening at that point, and I knew we are going to end here with the empty belly, but I wanted to persuade them to update their working hours on google maps, so that other tourists do not waste their time coming here while they are making an afternoon break. I asked for the manager, but the waiter decided that he will manage the situation. That's the part which is complicated, because they not only speak bad English, they also do not understand it well. We somehow established that the stated working hours are wrong, the waiter admitted the mistake, but he also told us that they don't update these times, because the bar is open and we can have an espresso. After couple more minutes of trying to explain that there is a separate option for the kitchen hours, I decided to quit. I realized that they simply don't care. They do not care about the working hours on the google maps as far as they are listed there. They have good reviews, I do not doubt the food quality, but the details are not important. Working hours, custome's time, english - nothing is important. Except being on google maps. That one they do understand. Being listed, and having good reviews is good for...
Read moreFirst of all, the restaurant looks very beautiful at night. The blue lights and water features complement the ambiance perfectly. We ordered the filet and entrecôte, both medium rare. The filet was quite large for the price but slightly undercooked. Fortunately, I enjoy my steak that way, so it didn’t bother me. The spinach bed with small potatoes was also delicious and well-seasoned.
The entrecôte came with the same sides but was a bit tough, though still edible after some thorough chewing. The steaks could have used a bit more seasoning, but this wasn’t a big issue as salt and pepper were available at the table. I would have liked some balsamic vinegar for the bread.
The wine list was a small highlight for me. They had a wide selection of wines, champagnes, and more. The wine we ordered...
Read moreThe food was great at this place I won’t lie, but the service was so shockingly bad and when I looked around I could tell it was because we were British. They basically ignored us all night, we had to wait about half an hour for our drinks order to be taken, once we did order they bought out half the order but had to wait another 20 mins for my main to come out, they didn’t communicate and say the other main will be out shortly or anything. We asked for the bill and waited about half an hour and asked again in Italian but the lady was really off hand with us, I was really disappointed as I had read great reviews about this place and the scenery was amazing but the service really let it down and they were being a lot more attentive to the Italian customers....
