Crotto Bercini — Restaurant in Gravedona ed Uniti

It is always very pleasant and welcoming to meet friendly and understanding service. My friend and I entered the crotto shortly before they finished serving lunch, but they still offered us a table. I wasn’t very hungry but was curious about the food. They allowed us to share a menu. A true family run gem with incredible views of the lake. The food was absolutely delicious, very fresh & authentic. My mum said it reminded her of the excellent family run restaurants that local friends used to take her to to when she lived in Italy 40 years ago. The lake menu was excellent and such wonderful value. The Pizzoccheri della Veltellina was also scrumptious and I think the crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever eaten (… and I’ve had many!). Could not recommend this place...

sabato 10/09/ 2022 risveglio all'alba...all'albeggiare delle ore 8...all'esterno rilevavo astensionismo di nembi....si poteva osare ricognizione esculenta nell'hinterland...ispeziono mie tasche dove trovo giacenti 25 euro, equivalenti al costo del menù del crotto....mia consorte conferma possedere altri 27 euro, equivalenti al costo del menù del lago....cerco amici quantomeno titolari di un bancomat o carta prepagata...ne incoccio solo due....do loro asilo sulla mia auto e partiamo....raggiunto il crotto bercini, scopriamo che l'accoglienza della signora Alessandra detentrice del crotto ( salvo visure catastali ) è ottima ( ancora non mi e non ci conosce ) e anche gli altri mangioni, già seduti, riflettono allegria e vivace frizzo ....il panorama fortunatamente non si paga, sennò sarebbe costato carissimo.....menù del grotto : antipasto, primo, secondo, dolce, tutto a 25 euro....sarà approssimativo e semplicistico?...al contrario è rigoglioso e e gustoso...idem per il menù da 27 euro a base di pesce del lago ....poi digestivo offerto a tutti ....unica contrarietà è che sarò forzato a tornare a spendere altri 25 euro, avendo oggi schedato avventura vincente....voglio altresì preavvertire che i pizzoccheri non si sono palesati buoni, per le mie pretese, ....ma... leggendari e straordinariamente superbi e alquanto difficilmente...
