Motorbike friendly. Underground garage to store it. Lovely room. Clean bathroom.nice terrace. Great breakfast. Easy to walk into town. Nice views of mountains. Accommodation is v good overall. Staff are friendly generally but one of the dogs bit my ankle and the hotels response was not good enough. The farm has 2 dogs. One is a jack russel and the other a medium sized one. When we arrived on our bike both came bounding over barking clearly not liking the sound. We unpacked and then i moved the bike into the garage wearing trainers. I started the bike up and the bigger dog arrived snapping at my heals. It then bit me hard on my ankle. I had a bite wound that bled. It shocked me and i nearly fell off the motorbike. I reported this to reception and the lady (no idea if she was the owner or just worked there) cleaned the wound and applied a dressing and appeared distressed. However. We talked to her later the next day as we were worried the dog could snap again. Possibly injure a child etc? She said it had not happened before. And did not seem concerned about this. I am sorry but this is not good enough. The dogs wander around the hotel, in the kitchen, outside the rooms, near the pool. Not hygenic either. I was not even offered a free drink as an apology. So, be warned. I certainly wont return...|| The dogs must be kept secured at all times. Especially the bigger one that bit me. Perhaps I should have reported this locally...
Read moreThis was our first visit to an Agriturismo and on this experience it will be our last. Because we booked quite late we had the last available room. This turned out to be very small in the extreme ; approximately 9 square meters. In this tiny space were two single beds pushed together, a wardrobe, bedside tables, a mini bar with television on top , a wooden chair and bench. Just a matter of inches between the bed and the wall. It was impossible for two people to pass anywhere. On the plus side, the room was clean and well decorated and the bathroom quite well equipped. Dinner each evening quite good though of variable quality and the breakfast was adequate. The garden and poolside area was pleasant though the pool is very shallow and not really suitable for swimming. It is quite a distance from lake and next to a group of factories and workshops. Not much sign of agricultural activity unless you count three goats in a cage by the entrance. It was also much more expensive than a 4 star hotel we had just left. Very poor value. We will not...
