Ristorante Alberto — Restaurant in Ischia

Though it may look at first like another of Ischia’s many indistinct beachfront eateries, I assure you it is not. This restaurant came highly recommended to us by restaurateurs from the US that had loved their meal here, and I am so glad we heeded their advice. Everything we tried on the menu was excellent, the wines are spectacular, and the service is that of a sincere family establishment that adores their craft. The antipasto Alberto is not to be missed, and the marinated swordfish component was so delightful we ordered additional portions (its like a boquerone but better than any boquerones I’ve ever had). Also be sure to order the pietrasecca, possibly the best wine we’ve had...

The location of this restaurant is absolutely stunning, right on the sea. It feels like you're suspended on the water.sunset there is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is very courteous and attentive, and plates are very elegant, and the food is quite sophisticated,also in the way the food is exposed on the plate. It's the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. We went on 'ferragosto' day (15 August) without reservation, but we luckily got a spot. The only reason why I put 4 stars is that, although the food is excellent and the view is stunning, it doesn't justify the high prices they have, which are more of a Michelin...

If you want to eat amazing tasty food in a beautiful location pampered by the sweet sound of the sea waves than is definitely the restaurant for you!

Ristorante Alberto serves fine food without serving micro portions, you can eat tasty, well prepared and stilish food without being worried of having to head somewhere else to have a second dinner!
