Tourist Trap with Rude Service and Overpriced Food.
Our visit was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We ordered a small antipasto in the form of fried calamari and were served a very small basket and nothing special. Despite the size and simplicity, it was shockingly charged as a €30 main course. The value simply wasn’t there.
What made the experience even worse was the service. The staff were unprofessional and inattentive. At one point, I was holding a piece of bread, mid-bite, when a staff member took my plate away without saying a word. I had to actually ask for my plate back just to finish my food. It was rushed, impolite, and made the entire meal feel uncomfortable.
The woman serving us was particularly rude and cold, showing no interest in welcoming or accommodating us. The staff overall seemed confused and disorganized, appearing unsure of what they were doing.
It’s clear this place survives only because of its location. It’s a tourist trap, with overpriced, underwhelming food and no respect for guests. There is no genuine hospitality here — just a business designed to take advantage of visitors.
I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. Spend your time and money somewhere that values its customers and delivers a proper...
Read moreI've had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant three times, and only once was it a good experience. It's not that the view isn't amazing - because it is. It's not that the staff isn't friendly - because they are. It's the food sucks. The food sucks, and the prices are high for the quailty of mush that they bring out to you. The first two times I had dates here, and they chose the restaurant - not me. I was burned the first time, but decided to give it another go the second time around. I did. And was burned again. My second date there told me that when food is bathing in oil like ours was, they're hiding something. I thought this was funny, but it also scared me.
The third time I went was to get a pizza. And I have to say, this redeemed them. Their pizza is some of the best in the city and is totally worth what they charge - which is between 7 - 10 Euro for the average pizza. I would recommend this place only for their pizza. Nothing more. Otherwise, don't say you weren't warned. Again, the view is spectacular, the best in the city center, and the staff is super friendly. But the food is far from good. Stick to the pizza if you...
Read moreI've seen this restaurant only from the outside, out of the bus. It looked beautiful, like it potentially had a great atmosphere. We decided to go there. The waiter was very kind. First, she gave us the menu. We ordered drinks: beer, white wine, and Coca-Cola. Before the "Secondo Piatto" (main dish), we got the "Primo Piatto" (appetizers). It was incredibly delicious. To eat, I decided to have spaghetti with lobster. It requires two people (two persons have to order) because they catch it from the aquarium inside the building. Each person receives half a lobster. It costs €36 per person. Then we ordered salmon with avocado and caviar. It costs around €20. They made it quickly. I was impressed. For dessert, I ordered coconut pie and a typical Italian dessert: a biscuit filled with cheese, served with honey on the side. Everything cost us €150, including service and taxes. We left a €5 tip for the waiter. I couldn't find words to describe the taste and deliciousness. It would surely deserve a...
